The invoice for the domain name has gone to an email address that is now a dead stick. Invoice not recieved therefore not paid. The name has gone into server hold, this will last 14 days then it will be deleted. Deletion can take up to 7 days more, from there the name will be free to be re-registered. not very good. Sounds like the Taipan Association needs to use a reliable domain name register and web host. For the past 8 years I have used Smartyhost for my company without any problems. $180 for 2 years. I have been suggesting for years that the taipan people should drop their Yahoo e-group and come to this forum. IP: 203.122.234.96 |

Its all fixed now. To be fair, the host and domain name register are not at fault. the main issue in this case was the lack of contact details. The regesiter is capable of having three contact address's, only one was supplied and that one is no longer valid. My money goes to icdsoft.com as they have very reasonable rates, high levels of uptime, fantastic backup support and huge data limits. IP: 121.44.218.170 |
