How do we tighten these. I have broken the thread on the nut thingy in the verticle pole going down to the dolphin striker. Where do i get a replacement? I cant see how this could tighten the dolphin striker.

Don't sail the boat untill you get the repair done, dolphin striker tension is critical, without the correct tension you may damage/break the front beam or possibly both beams. I would remove the tensioner and replace it and and the striker, (it should be replaced every couple of seasons regardless, or if your short of cash, run a die nut over the thread and put a deeper or second tensioning nut on remaining good thread.
