How do we tighten these. I have broken the thread on the nut thingy in the verticle pole going down to the dolphin striker. Where do i get a replacement? I cant see how this could tighten the dolphin striker. IP: 121.222.69.245 |

Don't sail the boat untill you get the repair done, dolphin striker tension is critical, without the correct tension you may damage/break the front beam or possibly both beams. I would remove the tensioner and replace it and and the striker, (it should be replaced every couple of seasons regardless, or if your short of cash, run a die nut over the thread and put a deeper or second tensioning nut on remaining good thread.
