  1. Windrush 14 bulkhead $2,800

    Price reduced to $2500.
  2. Ali-Cat is a Mk2 Bulkhead boat in very good condition. It comes with excellent pin head main 6346 and a good mylar jib. I resprayed it with acrylic over last winter , re-stitched the tramp, and replaced with new stays. On registered trailer due Dec 18 no sail box. This is a light strong boat that I have sailed a couple of club races with this season and I can confirm it is competitive with the foam boats at PKSC..  Call Tony on 0418454715.
  3. Recovery after capsize

I use a similar system. At 90kg plus you don't need the additional leverage of throwing a rope over the up-side hull.  I simply run a piece of shock cord from one side of back beam to the other with a ring on it.  The righting rope goes from one side of front beam through the ring to other side. The rope then self retracts when not in use. I also have a piece of rope the is threaded from under one jib eyelet in tramp to the other, knotted at the top and tensioned with a bit of shock cord.  Once boat is righted, I can pull down on this rope (about 60cm) and placing my foot on it, use it as a step back onto the boat.

  11. Rigging new Mylar zipper jib ?

Stuart, come down to PKSC this Saturday and I can show you.
  12. Windrush numbers at PKSC

Look forward to seeing you Pete. We are getting between 6 to 9 Windies a week. If all turned up on the same day we would have close to 15.
  13. We realised that Rod and a few of us will be travelling down for that. Some folk may travel to the Illawarra from the north coast but may not travel the additional 5 hours to Wallagoot.
