4. Took my old 14ft Funcat out for the first time on Saturday at Lake Wivenhoe, Qld. My first time sailing and had a real blast. Couldn't get over how fast and agile these boats are. The modern versions must be incredible. I'm a complete novice but my friend is an experienced dinghy sailor. Between us we managed to just about work it all out. Our only real issue was coming about and stalled her more often than not. That'll need a little work. Think i'm going to get hooked on this. I'm sure i'll be posting many questions over the summer as i use and abuse her so your help will be much appreciated. Thanks Ben
5. Thanks for the detailed responses lads. Advice is very much appreciated. Some really great links there Tony. Darcy, I'll definitely like to take you up on your offer. I tried to call but no answer as yet so I'll try again a little later.
6. Happy to adapt parts to suit my old 14ft funcat. She runs shallow fixed rudders at the minute but keen to update her with a pair of kick up rudders. Thanks guys.
7. Wanted - A trailer to suit a 14ft Cat. I'm in Brisbane but would be willing to travel a couple of hours. Many thanks guys. Ben
