  1. Up for grabs is a brilliant boat. Classis A class with super solid trailer and huge chequerplate box. Carbon everywhere you look on the boat, with some Kevlar mixed into the hulls for good measure. Eurotrax beach wheels, 3 sails. More gear than you can poke a stick at. Happy to provide much more detail and negotiate price to any potential buyer. Motivated to sell due to 12 month trip overseas. The boat still beats plenty of C-boarders and foilers around the race track, so it performs WELL above it's payscale. $7900. If there's a youth sailor at your club who you think would benefit from a boat like this then please pass on my number to their parents. I would reduce price considerably for a kid/youth to get a bargain entry into a beautiful boat and wonderful sport. Contact Kingsley - 0421995281
  2. For Sale is my beautiful, near new 12 foot Arafura Cadet Catamaran, ac1161, "Nipper". Built in 2015. Only sailed a few times. Main Sail is a brand new square top, Andrew Fee (CQ Sails) and has yet to be used. It is the dearer radial cut black laminate option. The dacron Jib is good and all ropes, mast, boom, trapeze and fittings are like new. New Beach wheels and a cradle are included. The optional (6x4 box) trailer includes a spare wheel and jockey wheel and is available for a few more dollars if required. Ronstan fittings. It is a light ply boat and is easily car topable. Ideal crew weight is up to 75kgs. The boat is located in Rockhampton (soon to be Maroochydore) I am only selling as my daughter has moved to Melbourne and cannot take it with her. Price is $1,750.00, which is a very low price considering all that is included and is a fraction of the price of a new boat (the new main just cost me $1000.00). Happy to send pics. Pic of Sister boat shown here. Call 0419733582 or email me on carl@beatarchitects.com.au

  6. I have a Cobra for sale in Frankston, Victoria. This cobra is sick of being in the garage, and wants someone to sail it like they stole it. It is a minimum weight race ready timber boat, with neat and simple control lines (no mess). It underwent a major restoration in 2009, where it received a bare timber paint job, new glass tape on its seams, new transoms, a new boom, a new tramp, new jib and excellent condition main. Then it went on to win a bunch of races including state titles and national titles. These sails are still in excellent condition. Since then it's been in the garage and its a bit lonely. (It does not have a square top main.) It comes with awesome beach rollers, a trailer with a sail box and spare tyre, and a good quality wind pointer. $2500. to arrange inspection: 0417 154 885 The photo is from the Nationals at Victor Harbor in 2010

  14. Hello everyone. So, I bought an old windrush 14 and I'm having real trouble trying to set it up. I have read the manual, but, I don't really understand the terminology, and it seems that the manual has a load of stuff I don't. The first real issue that I have is the mast setup. It seems like there are two side stays, and a forward stay (headsail) that keep the mast up, but when I put it up the mast leans forward about 25 degrees. I can loosen the fore stay and use the main sheet (? the sheet from the back of the boom to the traveller?) to bring the mast up straight (which also brings to boom to horizontal), but then I have loads of slack in the side stays and on the one time I took it sailing the mast moved around alot and I was really worried that the force of the mast was going to put the side stays out. Is there a windrush association in Melbourne? Or is there somewhere I can take it for some help? I'm am dying to take her out sailing. Thanks Jacob
